Policies

Reservation Policy

50% of the rental amount is due upon booking.

The remaining 50% plus a $250 security deposit is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Security Deposit Policy

We require a $250 Security Deposit.

The Security Deposit is sent to us along with the 2nd half of the rental fee,
2 weeks before your arrival (the 1st half of the rent is due upon booking).
We will deposit the security deposit, and hold it until after your departure.
So long as there are no damages or extra cleaning charges incurred, the security deposit
will be refunded in full before 14 days have elapsed from the end of your occupancy.

We expect tenants to leave the house “as they found it” which means:
swept/vacuumed as necessary, dishes/glassware/linens left clean and in proper order,
trash taken out, and kitchen items re-stocked (dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters etc).
The cleaner comes in, not to clean up after a tenant, but to fine-tune the job,
making the place absolutely immaculate for the next tenant.

Cancellation Policy

A refund for a canceled booking is provided only if the week(s) are re-booked
for the same dollar amount (more readily accomplished with sufficient notice).
If the house has not been re-rented 45 days prior to the arrival date all deposits are forfeited.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is 3pm on day of arrival.
Check-out is 11am on day of departure.

Cleaning

We hire a cleaner to come in and clean the house between tenants.
We expect tenants to leave the house “as they found it” - swept, clean and tidy.
The cleaner’s job is to make the house absolutely immaculate for each tenant’s arrival.
